Hey, I'm Michal 👋
Software engineer · Conference speaker · University lecturer · PhD student
I've been building things on the web for 10+ years, and Laravel has been my companion for most of that ride. I genuinely love making software that feels good to use — clean code, solid architecture, no unnecessary complexity.
Laravel dev
Laravel is my go-to. I enjoy digging into the internals and finding the simplest, most elegant solution.
Speaker
I've talked at a few tech conferences. Nothing sharpens your thinking like having to explain it to a room full of people.
Academia
I teach programming and web technologies at university, and I'm doing my PhD in Mechatronics on the side.
On top of the day job, I lecture programming and web technologies at university — which turns out to be one of the best ways to really understand something. You can't bluff your way through a room full of students asking good questions.
I'm also doing my PhD in Mechatronics, which puts me at the crossroads of software, electronics, and mechanical systems. It's a different world from web dev, but the problem-solving mindset is the same.
This blog is where I put things I've been thinking about — a Laravel trick, a conference recap, something from the lecture hall. No fixed schedule, no niche. Just stuff I find worth sharing.
